NSCLT

The guys from NSCLT are making waves in the Hardstyle scene, mainly focused on euphoric Hardstyle but also with some rougher releases they’ve been able to reach some big stages already. When we attended Daylight Festival for which they made the anthem with GLDY LX it was perfect timing to have a chat with them. Check out the interview below!

Hi guys, nice to see you & thanks for making the time to have a chat!

No problem, it’s a pleasure!

Alright let’s kick off the interview, your anthem for Daylight Festival is pretty catchy! How did it come about?

We wanted to use not too many elements to make it easy for people to remember and also to know the lyrics. We sent the anthem to Dirty Workz and thanks to mister Dirty Workz Coone we got in touch with GLDY LX who has written the lyrics of the anthem. Now that we have performed it live we’ve seen that it works, people really were familiar with the track.

Okay, so we’re here at Daylight Festival which is a concept of EYE4DANCE and Focus Events, what do you guys think about the concept?

The concept is definitely cool; the location is unique in this region. Obviously Q-Base also is located at an airport but the atmosphere here is nice. I guess you can call it cozy.

Interesting! So as you say you performed together for the first time in 2009, when did you experience the feeling that you’ve arrived & really became professional DJ’s/producers?

Well we’re still learning but signing at Dirtyworkz was a massive highlight in our career. D-Block and S-Te-Fan have been the first guys to really believe in us. They supported us in their mix at SLAM FM and later on Hardnews picked us up. We’re really grateful for that.

Alright, you’ve already got a big tour schedule this year. For example, you’re doing the second NSCLT LIVE act ever at CRAFT Festival. Nowadays many acts go LIVE but what does it mean for you to be performing LIVE?

Yes! We’re so excited to be playing at Tomorrowland on the Dirtyworkz stage. Besides that we’re playing at Dance Valley, Nature One in Germany, The Qontinent in Belgium. At CRAFT Festival, of which the line-up is quite amazing, we’re gonna be playing LIVE indeed and that means that people can expect new music, loads of edits & simply only NSCLT music.

We’re curious about your LIVE performance! Let’s talk new music, because for sure you’ve got a lot in the works and we’re curious which style you’re planning on releasing, since there’s purely euphoric tunes like ‘Fly With Me’ and harder euphoric tunes like ‘Freight Train’ in your discography.

Well we currently got 4 tracks in the works. ‘Do It’ which has been supported by the Frequencerz already is one of them. Also we’ve got a finished euphoric collab with Aztech from We R Music that will be arriving sometime this year on We R Music. We’ve recently moved to the same studio where Da Tweekaz and Hard Driver are working.

Sounds great guys! To finish off, what triggers your inspiration for a new track?

It can be just about everything; we like working with samples sometimes and to give our own twist to it. Obviously it can also work to attend festivals ourselves and hanging out with friends. Being relaxed does trigger inspiration.

Okay thanks very much for this interview & good luck with everything you’re working on and your gigs! We’ll definitely see each other again this festival-season!

Thanks guys! See you again soon!
