2015 has been nothing short of monumental for dance music’s biggest don’s Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. From landing the coveted #1 position in the 2015 Top 100 DJ’s Poll, as well as being the first duo to ever do so, over to slaying the Belgian festival behemoth that is Tomorrowland with a record-breaking headline set, 2015 now reaches its apex this weekend when Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike return to Belgium for a home-coming show bigger and bolder than they’ve ever organised before, with a killer line-up of elite special guests, an exclusive vinyl only session and much more.
After last year’s ‘Bringing The World The Madness’ spectacle, fans welcomed the announcement of ‘Bringing The Madness 3.0’ by storming the ticket sites and vigorously snapping up a staggering 40,000 tickets in under 40 minutes. A feat only previously managed by legendary names such as U2, Madonna, Beyoncé and Coldplay. Due to the phenomenal demand for tickets, the brothers decided to add an additional third date on Thursday 17th December to the shows home-run and in turn increasing the total capacity of fans for the weekend events to an impressive 60,000 people!
Staged in production from the team behind Tomorrowland, the shows, which run across December 17th, 18th & 19th, are poised to wreak mayhem with the inclusion of a series of extremely special A-list named guests, huge anthems including their smash of the Summer ‘Higher Place’ featuring Ne-Yo that spent 6 weeks at #1 in the Belgian Charts, and the news that the duo will perform a very special ‘back to their roots’ all-vinyl as part of the full show – showcasing not just some of their best loved tracks from across the years but also exhibiting their history behind the decks in the electronic scan that spans more than 10 years. This exclusive vinyl show is sure to be one of the many highlights of the evening and an occasion that is assured to captivate audiences.
Honing their craft to perfection over a decade in the scene, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike will push the integrity of their skills behind the decks, not only as producers and showmen, but as crate-diggers taking it back to their roots for something that’s going to rock the very foundations of the Sportpaleis Antwerp.
Already fan’s of the Thursday event have been treated to the tantalising appearance of Dutch dance music titan Afrojack, who joined the brothers on stage, for a special back-to-back set much to the capacity crowds excitement!
