Those are the 10 DJ’s that will be flying across the Netherlands with helicopters for the second edition of the biggest open air dance festival of the Netherlands: The Flying Dutch. A unique experience powered by ING; those DJ’s have never performed together at one festival in the Netherlands. The Flying Dutch takes place at the Olympic stadium in Amsterdam, at E3 Strand at Eersel near Eindhoven and at Ahoy Buiten in Rotterdam. Ticket sales starts this Friday at 12:00h via

The 10 superstar DJ’s will land at 3 cities for a crowd of at least 100.000 enthusiastic fans. In Amsterdam Armin van Buuren will be closing the day like last year, in Rotterdam Afrojack will take care of the closing and Hardwell will close at the new location at the south, E3 Strand in Eersel near Eindhoven. This year the DJ’s Firebeatz, Martin Garrix and Tiësto will make their first appearance at The Flying Dutch.

This year initiative takers John Ewbank, Allan Hardenberg (ALDA Events) and presenting partner ING strive to equal last years’ success and take it to the next level. John Ewbank: ‘’We were overwhelmed by the incredible response by both the DJ’s and the crowd at the first edition of The Flying Dutch. Considering everything we’ve learned from last years’ edition we’re gonna make it an even better party!’’. Allan Hardenberg: ‘’The Netherlands has got a rich culture concerning DANCE. We’re proud to contribute to this and will connect fans, musiclovers and the best DJ’s of the country on this special day with one philosophy: ‘’Music is what feelings sound like’’. Tjitske Benedictus, manager Sponsoring & Events ING: ‘’We’re proud of our Dutch DJ’s. The first edition has shown which energy is created when those musical heroes go loose. They are a real inspiration for the Dutch crowd. We’re happy to continue building on the success of The Flying Dutch and that with our involvement the festival is accessible for a broad audience’’.

The 10 Dutch DJ’s fly across the world for shows but especially for The Flying Dutch they return to their motherland to put together a unique show. The first edition was a massive success. Over 100.000 amazed fans enjoyed the performances and also the DJ’s loved it. Showtek about The Flying Dutch: ‘’This might be the most special event in the Netherlands’’. Armin van Buuren about The Flying Dutch: ‘’I never dreamed of an event like this when I started as a DJ. It makes me proud to be Dutch’’. Just like at the first edition of The Flying Dutch which took place on the 30th May 2015, on the 4th June 2016 all 10 DJ’s will be flying from city to city between 12:00 and 23:00 and they will all do a liveset of 1 hour.
