FTampa & The Fish House – ‘031’
Available today via DOORN Records
Brazilian-born, FTampa reveals his debut collaboration with fellow Brazilian and good friend, The Fish House on ‘031’. This Electro House banger brings a massive four-to-the-floor vibe and features smooth piano chords with huge synth stabs. To top it off, some insane background vocals that lead just perfectly into the drop. This collaboration works just right that one can only hope the two have more tracks in store together for the future. Considering ‘031’ already premiered in Hardwell On Air in early July, you can expect to hear this Brazilian Heat in many other DJs’ sets and radio shows throughout the remainder of the summer.
Felipe Tampa has been producing electronic music since 2010, but it wasn’t until 2013 when he had his breakthrough after Hardwell played his song ‘Kick It Hard’ on the mainstage at Tomorrowland. He has not only experienced success in the music industry, but also in the gaming industry as well since some of his originals have been licensed to use in both Xbox and PS2 games. Revealed Recordings and Spinnin’ Records have been home for several of his originals including ‘That Drop’, ‘Slammer’, and ‘Troy’. In 2013, Burning Man was graced with his presence and just last weekend he had thousands rocking at Tomorrowland.
Rafael Gontijo, aka The Fish House, has been on the up-and-coming throughout his early 20’s and experienced a lot of success early on with his bootlegs and remixes. His first big label release, ‘Stripped EP’ came on Big Fish Recordings in early 2013. Additionally, he has released music on Ministry of Sound Australia’s imprint, Hussle Recordings, Braslive, and Big Alliance Records. Another noteworthy mention is that he made his first appearance at Tomorrowland Brasil this year. ‘031’ will be his first collaboration with a well-known artist and also his debut release on DOORN Records. I think we can expect great things from this 24-year-old Brazilian in the future.
