Deniz Koyu throws a groovy spin on Nick Martin’s song, “Red Lion”.  The breakdown features powerful keyboard and guitar samples, reminiscent of 70’s rock bands, like that of Van Halen or Aerosmith.  This unique breakdown transitions into an aggressive Electro House buildup and then slowly progresses into a groovy, unexpected drop.  This is Nick’s debut collaboration with Deniz and his first release on Spinnin’, but we don’t expect it to be his last.  The record has already garnered support from numerous big names including David Guetta, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, and MAKJ to name a few.  “Red Lion” is contagious party music that will make the whole crowd dance!

While the name Nick Martin might be obscure, the Greek DJ/producer has been a local hero for over five years, playing many underground House/Tech House clubs under the alias, Investo.  His debut release as Nick Martin was a remix of Bebe Rexha’s “I’m Gonna Show You” nearly half a year ago.  “Red Lion” is his debut original and his first release on a record label under the new name…a pretty killer accomplishment for someone who just rebranded.  As 2015 comes to a close, Martin is preparing for a huge year in 2016 so keep your eyes out for this guy as he rises to the top.

Deniz Koyu has been a household name in dance music for the last several years with releases on Fedde Le Grand’s Flamingo Recordings, Axwell’s Axtone Records, Spinnin’ Records, and Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings and collaborations with Dirty South, Danny Avila, twoloud, and Thomas Gold.  In addition he has also done official remixes for the likes of Zedd, Krewella, and Miike Snow.  His last two releases, which were collaborations through Protocol, acquired over a combined half million plays in just a few months.  Deniz’s recently renamed radio show, “Soundcheck Radio” airs on SiriusXM’s Electric Area every Saturday night at 11pm PST so be sure to go check it out this week!
