SAM FELDT RELEASES DEBUT EP, ‘BEEN A WHILE‘!
Available now on Spinnin’ Deep!
Dutch prodigy, Sam Feldt is gearing up to release his debut EP, Been A While. At the end of January he revealed the title track and it is already making waves as one of the most popular tunes of 2016. ‘Been A While’ features beautiful horn samples from Q on trumpet. His second single off the six-track EP, ‘Feels Like Home’ with Dante Klein and Milow is shaping up to be a vocal house classic as well. His collaboration with Lulleaux on ‘All The Kids’ is a melodic house masterpiece that features bongos, beautiful piano chords, and even orchestral elements with the use of violins. ‘Don’t Walk We Fly’ featuring Bright Sparks is more high energy than the other songs, blasting an up-tempo deep house groove, and brings a very emotional male and female vocal performance. Meleka’s euphoric vocals sit atop wonderfully arranged melodies and lead into an uplifting drop filled with Tropical string samples. Lastly, ‘Forgiveness’ with Joe Cleere’s touching vocals is a peaceful, piano gem that will leave you feeling a slew of emotions. Been A While is a beautiful collection of six unique tropical, melodic, and piano-driven songs that exemplifies Sam Feldt’s innovative and versatile craft.
Sam Feldt’s career catapulted into full throttle after his widely acclaimed rework of the timeless ‘Show Me Love’, which hit #4 in the UK Charts and sat steadily on the #1 spot in Beatport’s Chill Out chart for over four months. Over the past year, Sam Feldt headlined a mammoth 17-date tour through Northern America with performances at TomorrowWorld, Electric Zoo and Mad Decent’s legendary Block Party. The future is looking bright though, with the ‘Been A While’ EP coming up and performances scheduled at festivals like Buku in New Orleans, UME in Texas, Ultra Music Festival in Miami and last but definitely not least his first performance at Coachella, 2016 is shaping up to be quite the year for Sam Feldt!
