Coming off an extremely hot streak from their most recent original, “Louder” with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, the Italian brothers known as VINAI do not disappoint on their upcoming collaboration with Harrison entitled “The Wave”.  From the get-go, the track bleeds Melbourne Bounce.  It perfectly combines VINAI’s signature bouncy, heavy kicks and bass pattern with Harrison’s infectious, rock-infused vocals.  The drop features an aggressive, sawtooth synth line over the percussive pattern and is loaded with reverb.  Because of its powerful energy, “The Wave” is the perfect celebration track for those attending Tomorrowland next week.  Keep an ear out, as you’ll be sure to hear it in many sets at the monumental Belgium festival!
The Italian stallions of dance music, brothers Alessandro and Andrea Vinai, might as well just be dubbed the kings of Bounce at this point.  Their breakthrough came at the end of 2013/beginning of 2014 with their track “Hands Up” and their collaboration with DVBBS on “Raveology”.  “Raveology” premiered on Billboard and reached #1 on Beatport’s main chart in less than a week.  In 2014, they also made the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs list for the first time, coming in at #62.  The success didn’t cease from there.  Their first release of 2015, “Louder”, a collaboration with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike amassed over six million views on YouTube and then came an official remix for David Guetta on “What I Did For Love”.  You can catch the VINAI brothers all over the world this summer performing at clubs and festivals like Amnesia Ibiza, Zouk in Singapore, Tomorrowland,  and Mysteryland.
At only 21, former UK-based rock singer, Harrison is already turning heads in the EDM scene.  As both a singer and DJ/producer he is able to separate himself from the other rising producers out there.  Just over a year ago he released his vocal collaboration, “Ain’t A Party” with David Guetta.  To start off 2015, Harrison found himself featured on Hardwell’s massive, yet controversial hit “Sally” and Steve Aoki’s “Holding Up The World” off his Neon Future 2 album.  It’ll be interesting to see what the future has in store for this young talent.
“The Wave” will be released on Monday, July 20th via Spinnin’ Records so go grab your copy while you can!
