Don Diablo & Emeni are taking off into ‘Universe’
It’s time to welcome back mister Don Diablo to the Spinnin’ Deep imprint.
And his return is nothing less than impressive, as ‘Universe’ blends a house groove filled with sweet piano chords, mesmerizing melodies and hotblooded vocals by Emeni. As she is known for Galantis fame, co-writing/singing their recent monster hit ‘Runaway’ (U&I)’, it seems this collab with DJ maverick Don Diablo is another match made in heaven.
Or, a new step into the universe of Don Diablo (no pun intended). Making quite the impact; the track recently entered the UK Buzz Chart at #1, deemed ‘THE Record of the year’, and is already getting massive DJ support, gaining feedback from different artists, from Tiësto, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Knife Party to Avicii and Oliver Heldens.
Last but not least, there’s the video. The Dutch DJ invited none other than Bike Trial champion Rick Koekoek to feature and honor him in a stunning piece of visual work. It’s personal (Don Diablo does the intro and epilogue of the video himself), beautiful and more than fitting to the excitement of the track. And again, a great example of Don Diablo’s universe expanding with every release –you gotta love the Don!
