Yves V vs. Skytech & Fafaq – ‘Indigo’
Available now via DOORN Records
Polish artists and good friends Skytech and Fafaq have made a debut collab with legendary Belgian artist Yves V. And it’s become a sure shot, as ‘Indigo’ has seen early success, reaching #2 on the ADE Buzz Chart as well as gaining lots of DJ support already from artists like Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiësto and David Guetta.
And what happens when you get a Belgian and two Polish producers on a record? A massive, hard-hitting electro house tune called ‘Indigo’, featuring groovy house basslines with piercing piano chords in the breakdowns and then transitions into a genre-bending drop that with elements of electro and future house. The kick is heavy in the drops and makes the song even sound a bit like a big room track too. Nonetheless, the three producers set no genre boundaries in ‘Indigo’ and they succeeded.
Yves V has been around the dance scene for several years. He became a recognizable name after his impressive performance at Tomorrowland 2007. Following this performance, he played at several other mega festivals and production-wise broke through in 2009 with his original, ‘Insane Pressure’. He has collaborated with the likes of Sander van Doorn, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Chuckie, and remixed hip-hop phenoms Missy Elliott, Timbaland, and Ginuwine. He has played at some of the world’s biggest festivals including Tomorrowland, Mysteryland, Summer Festival in Sweden and Sensation. His latest single, ‘Octagon’, was released on Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s Smash the House Records in September.
Skytech and Fafaq are two solo producers hailing from the beautiful country of Poland. While they are separate acts, the two are very good friends and have released several songs together including ‘International Language’, ‘Saturday Chant’, and ‘Tiger’. R3HAB was also a collaborator on ‘Tiger’, which helped to gain international attention and support from Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Benny Benassi, DVBBS, Headhunterz and Cash Cash…making it their biggest tune thus far. We are excited to see future collabs between Skytech and Fafaq. The two have done their fair share of touring in 2015 and will be expanding their names worldwide in 2016.
‘Indigo’ is available today via DOORN Records.
